HOLBROOK POLICE ELDER SERVICES

The department is responsible for investigating any suspected abuse, and also has a department representative in the TRIAD group formed in conjunction with the Norfolk County Sheriffs Department and the Holbrook Council on Aging.

The TRIAD is a three way commitment between the Police and Fire Departments, the Holbrook Council On Aging, and the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office.
The objective of the TRIAD is to develop, implement, and expand effective crime prevention; to provide educational programs, safety measures for homes, and health information for senior community members; and to improve the quality of life for all residents of Holbrook.

The TRIAD meets the first Thursday of every month at the Holbrook Council On Aging Center located on Jewel Road. The meetings are at 9 a.m. and any interested person is welcome to attend.

This TRIAD group is working to provide the "Are You OK" program to senior citizens and handicapped persons in our community.
The program provides daily phone call to these citizens. If the telephone call is not answered, a friend or relative is sent to the home.
If a friend or relative cannot be located, the HPD will dispatch an officer to conduct a health and welfare check on the program subscriber.
Those interested in inquiring or enrolling in the program should call the Holbrook Council On Aging @ (781) 767-4617
